Playreading

Have you ever wondered how Hastings Community Theatre picks its shows for the new season? Now’s your chance to have a say! Have you always dreamed of directing a show? Or maybe there’s a musical or play you’re dying to see come to life on the HCT stage? Now’s the time to let us know!

Simply click HERE, fill out the submission form, and your suggestion will be in the mix. Our play reading committee will review and read all entries, then narrow them down to 5-8 musicals and 5-8 plays for the HCT Board to vote on. The top two musicals and the top two plays will shape our exciting new 2025-2026 season!
